Shipping Terms and Returns

ALL SHIPMENTS
IT IS OUR GOAL TO SHIP WITHIN 24 HOURS ALL PAID ORDERS FOR IN-STOCK PRODUCTS. Our products are commonly printed on-demand and stocked in limited quantities or not at all. So please confirm stock before sending payment to Turning World. (Typically, magazines ship directly from the printer.)
Please understand that we reserve the right to fully clear payments before considering an order "paid." If we have not yet shipped your paid order then you can cancel your order and receive a full refund in U.S. Dollars by making contact and receiving a cancellation number. (Of course, there will be no delivery if the order is canceled or is, uncommonly, declined by Turning World.)
shipping costs
All products are shipped from the United States via United States Postal Service® Priority Mail® or Priority Mail® International (or Priority Mail Express® or Priority Mail Express® International, if requested for likely added speed at additional cost). The cost of these services plus the costs of any extra packing materials and any needed extra insurance and/or other postal services determine the total shipping cost to our patrons.
Delivery to "United States"
Shipping to 49 United States (we do not currently ship to Florida) and District of Columbia, American Samoa, Guam, Northern Mariana Islands, Marshall Islands, Federated States of Micronesia, Palau, Puerto Rico, U.S. Virgin Islands, Wake Island, U.S. Army Post Offices or U.S. Fleet Post Offices, Diplomatic Post Offices, and United Nations Headquarters in New York.
- Shipping time alone in the 49 United States (we do not currently ship to Florida) and District of Columbia
is likely 1-3 business days. Expressing to Turning World a
preference for delivery via Priority Mail Express® can often help speed delivery, and Sunday and holiday delivery
might be available.
- We can ship to street addresses, U.S. Post Office Boxes, and to private
mail boxes at commercial mail receiving agencies. Addresses containing private
mail box numbers should identify the number as a "PMB" instead of "Box" or
"P.O. Box."

of Micronesia, Palau, Puerto Rico, U.S. Virgin Islands, and Wake Island. Shipping time alone is likely 7 business days at most. Expressing
to Turning World a preference for delivery via Priority Mail Express® can often help speed delivery, and Sunday and holiday delivery
might be available.

We can ship BOOKS to U.S. Army Post Office, U.S. Fleet Post Office, and Diplomatic Post Office
addresses. Shipping time alone is likely 7-18 business days.
When sharing the shipping address with Turning World please use the service member's full name and rank, CMR or
PSC or UNIT number and box number assigned plus any vessel name. Use "APO" or "FPO" or "DPO" in the
"city" field. We need the proper two-letter code for the station region ("AA" for Armed Forces Americas, "AE" for
Europe, and "AP" for Pacific). We need
the ZIP Code™ (ZIP+4®, if available). Expressing to Turning World a
preference for delivery via Priority Mail Express® can often help speed delivery, and Sunday and holiday delivery might be available.

Delivery Outside "United States"
- Shipping time alone is likely to be 6-10 business days for many major markets. Expressing
to Turning World a preference for delivery via Priority Mail Express® can often help speed delivery, and
Sunday and holiday delivery might be available.
- We can ship to approximately 180 countries worldwide.
- The delivery times and the served destinations noted above are provided as guidance subject to change and not guaranteed. Once we have a
specific "ship to" address in hand then Turning World can offer insight that is more reliable.
International Delivery Advisory
- Please be aware that each package crossing international borders is subject to inspection and opening by customs
officials.
- Packages shipped outside the 49 United States (we do not currently ship to Florida) and District of Columbia may be
subject to import and customs fees, taxes, and duties,
which charges Turning World does not collect or pay.
- In every case where such a designation can be made our patron customer is the "importer of record" and is
required to comply with all applicable laws and regulations of the shipment destination's authorities.
- Each package shipped outside the 49 United States (we do not currently ship to Florida) and District of Columbia is shipped
bearing any required United States Postal Service® customs forms, which may
contain information about the contents including a description and currency
value. Turning World completes the forms under United
States Postal Service® privacy regulations, which may permit the
service to share information about each shipment. Visit this United States Postal

Delivery to Jails and Prisons
Turning World does not ship directly to inmates in jails, prisons, or other government detention facilities. The receiving rules for institutions and inmates are too variable. If you know an inmate who would like one of our products then please receive it yourself and act as an intermediary who complies with all of the facility's regulations. Thank you!
Receipt of Unrequested Items
If any delivery arrives at its "ship to" address containing any unrequested Turning World product then that item becomes the recipient's property without charge or obligation to return.
Incomplete Shipments
If any unopened delivery arrives at its "ship to" address missing any due Turning World product then the patron seeking remedy must contact Turning World within 14 days by delivering to "shipping_returns@turningworld.org" an email message that completely identifies each missing product, the amount paid for the product and the payment date, and the name under which the payment was made. For each in-stock product that Turning World concurs is missing Turning World will send that product at no added cost to the patron. For each not-in-stock product that Turning World concurs is missing Turning World will issue a full refund of the product purchase price and all shipping costs of the original order.
Refused or Undelivered Shipments
Turning World is not obligated to issue any refund on any shipped product returned to Turning World as refused, undeliverable, or undelivered after repeated attempts. Each product in such shipments becomes the property of Turning World.
Shipping Returns to Turning World
Products Turning World shipped that are received inside the 49 United States (we do not currently ship to Florida) and District of Columbia may be returned in new and resaleable condition within 30 days for at least a full refund in U.S. Dollars of the product purchase price. We are grateful for your interest and support, but please shop carefully because shipping costs are not refundable. Please take care to repack items for return using adequate amounts of bubble wrap, air pillows, etc. (The corners of book covers seem especially prone to damage during shipping.) Each return shipment should be adequately insured and include delivery confirmation service because Turning World bears no loss risk, and ownership title to each returned product transfers to Turning World only upon receipt by Turning World in new and resaleable condition.
